All-on-4 Implant

The All-on-4 procedure is an advanced technique that uses four individual dental implants to replace an entire jaw with teeth.
In the past, 8 to 10 implants were needed for the same procedure and often bone grafting and sinus lifts were necessary. The All-on-4 procedure eliminates the need for these more costly and invasive techniques.

Same Day Treatment

Traditional implant techniques required months of healing time for the bone and implants before teeth could be placed in the jaw. With the All-on-4 technique, since no bone grafting is necessary, the teeth are placed on the implant during the same visit.

Dental Implants

Tooth loss is common. Teeth can fall out after trauma or injury, or due to decay, gum disease or old age. Although the most common treatments for missing teeth are dentures or bridges,
dental implants are quickly becoming the preferred treatment since they provide a longer term solution, protect against bone loss and preserve nearby healthy gums.

What is a Dental Implant?

A dental implant is an artificial tooth root replacement that is used when tooth loss has occurred. A dental implant uses a small titanium post that acts as the root of the tooth, creates a strong foundation for the artificial tooth and integrates well with existing bone and gum tissue. Dental implants are very durable and can last a lifetime. Dental implants are natural looking replacements for teeth and require the same care as natural teeth including brushing, flossing and regular check-ups.

What are the Advantages of Dental Implants?

Improved function - Once dental implants have fully integrated with the jaw, they function exactly as your natural teeth, allowing you to eat the foods you want and speak with complete confidence.

Durability - Implants are very durable and can last a lifetime.

Reduced bone loss - When you lose a tooth, you are left with a hole where the tooth root used to be. The bone around this hole can begin to atrophy, and can change the shape of the jaw. With dental implants, bone growth and production can actually be stimulated, thus preserving your bone structure.

No need to remove healthy tooth structure - When placing a denture, the adjacent teeth need to be prepared and healthy tooth structure is removed to accommodate a crown or bridge over the tooth. With dental implants, your natural teeth do not need to be altered in any way since the implant does not need support from surrounding teeth.

Improved dental hygiene - Unlike dentures and bridges which require special cleaning, dental implants are maintained the same way your natural teeth are, through brushing, flossing and regular check ups.

Better aesthetics - Dental implants are indistinguishable from your natural teeth and provide a greater functional and cosmetic result than dentures or bridges.

What Kinds of Anesthetics are Offered?

Implants can be placed under a variety of anesthetics to make sure that you are comfortable throughout the procedure.
Tour & Smile does provide the option of general anesthetics for patients who choose so.
